I’ve built four tech startups over 15 years. Along with the traditional roller coaster of entrepreneurship, I experienced burnout and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014.
As any self-respecting entrepreneur, I doubled down and became even more focused and action-biased to experiment and find solutions to manage my condition and continue to push my business forward.
Along the way, I realized I was failing by succeeding.
I succeeded at what I thought I was supposed to do.
Build a profitable company.
In Tech.
In Silicon Valley.
But I was failing at life. I was miserable.
I started to ponder the following question: is there more to life?
So I went on a quest to answer that quest(ion). (See what I did there?)
First, I made space for travel as I didn’t know how long I’d be able to walk. As I traveled the world, I met many exceptional people with fascinating stories. I gathered allies. I learned from the best. I optimized for serendipity.
I discovered that real success happens when we operate from our essence—the way of being that feels effortless yet creates deep value. One of my greatest mentors, the late Robert Ellis, helped me see this more clearly, and I was able to find a form that matches my essence.
It led me to become the trusted thinking partner and executive coach I am today.
I use this and other gifts to help founders navigate the emotional and strategic complexities of life after an exit—whether that means scaling their next venture, creating meaningful impact, or simply figuring out what’s next.
Outside of my private practice, where I go deep with a select group of founders who are ready to do the work and create transformation, I also find other ways to give back.
I mentor underrepresented entrepreneurs to help them become the founders who can succeed with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, Techstars, and Singularity University.
I also speak internationally on leadership, entrepreneurship, and finding meaning and purpose after an exit on stages such as Davos during the World Economic Forum.
Born in Hungary and growing up in Algeria and Canada before moving to California, I developed an intense curiosity about other cultures and learned to relate effectively with them. Creating meaningful travel experiences continues to be a passion I share with my wife and daughter, having personally traveled to over 40 countries.
Having lived and worked across multiple cultures, I also help founders navigate today’s increasingly complex, borderless world with a fresh, global perspective.
If this resonates, I’d love to meet you. Maybe over ice cream?
I believe that strangers are just friends who haven’t met.
